What do you do here?
I work on the Marketing team here at Touchcast as a Sr. Marketing Manager. In this position, I’m responsible for executing marketing strategies on behalf of Touchcast and making sure the right messaging is being communicated to potential and current customers.
My daily routine @touchcast
Why Touchcast?
My background is in events so I was excited to join a company with an offering that I had familiarity with. It very quickly became clear how amazing the people here are. This team has some of the most empathic, supportive and talented people I’ve ever worked with. I also love the culture the company’s been able to create even with being a fully remote organization.

What changed in your approach to your role since you joined Touchcast?
When I first started working here, Touchcast was already doing really incredible events in the metaverse. We are now expanding our presence in the metaverse to other areas for enterprise companies. It’s been really cool to be a part of conversations about the future of communications and how this transition will change how people interact and do business. Since it’s still early days for this shift, I now spend a portion of my time each week learning more about web3 and other related metaverse topics.
What part of your childhood relates to your work at Touchcast?
When I was in elementary school, I used to put on puppet shows for my classmates with paper-cutouts I had made. I would put on a couple ‘plays’ per year. That love of story-telling is something that has stuck with me throughout my career and it’s definitely an important concept in marketing because it allows people to interact with your company on a more personal level. Touchcast takes it one step further by helping people to tell their stories in really cool and immersive ways which is an added bonus :)
What advice would you give to someone starting out in...(your role)?
Don’t be afraid to speak up and share your ideas. Even if they don’t get used every time, new points of view lead to new fresh ideas that never would have been thought of otherwise.
How do you make the most out of working remotely?
My two favorite parts about working from home are: 1. no more commuting and 2. I’m able to make as much coffee as I want throughout the day. I do miss the camaraderie that comes with working in an office so I try to carve out some time each week for little 1:1 chats with co-workers.
What is something outside of work you’re irrationally passionate about?
Animals in general and rabbits specifically. I’ve had two free-range bunnies of my own for 7+ years. While I was living in NYC, I volunteered at the Queens rabbit rescue All About Rabbits Rescue (where one of mine came from🐰). Thankfully, I’ve been able to continue volunteering with them remotely after my move to Chicago.
Your hidden talent
Juggling
Your greatest fear
Driving in big cities, heights are a close second
Most unusual job you’ve ever had
I don’t think I’ve had an unusual job! I’ve had a lot of different summer jobs, but they’ve all been pretty typical like camp counselor, server, working in retail etc.
if I weren’t doing this job I would be...
Running an animal sanctuary
If you could learn to do anything...
Write in cursive legibly
If you could meet anyone, living or dead
Kurt Vonnegut
Movie recommendation
The Fall by Tarsem Singh
Dream trip
I’d love to go to Thailand or the Galapagos Islands
Who would you pick as your mentor
Michelle Obama
What music you are into right now
I can’t get enough of 90s grunge, pop and R&B right now
