What do you do here?
I am responsible for leading the design of Touchcast’s Metaverse events. This includes creating all visual assets for the event and using them to build a corresponding event page, communicating with the client and making sure the experience for the attendees is not only smooth, but also visually stunning.
My daily routine @touchcast
Why Touchcast?
Working at Touchcast provided me the opportunity to collaborate with a group of incredibly talented professionals, who show up every day and give 100% of what they have. The team spirit is the best I have encountered. Such an environment stimulates you to outgrow yourself in every project, since you naturally don’t want to fall behind such high quality standards. The company’s culture and approach is that everyone is considered an expert in their field, so I can honestly say that the level of respect for creativity is the best I have experienced in my career. The work methodology is highly structured and everyone is welcome to be involved in the development of better processes. New ideas do not hit the wall and are easily implemented, no matter who suggests them, making this a fast pace and exciting place to work!

☝️ Where ideas come to life.
What changed in your approach to your role since you joined Touchcast?
I’ve realized that client feedback is one of the most valuable tools in order to deliver each project more successfully every time. Touchcast has empowered me to be fully responsible for several steps of the event process and entrusted me to direct creative on some really interesting projects which has made me grow more confident in my skills, and also realize that there is a real sense of meritocracy here. As long as you work together as a team and give the best of yourself, you can achieve amazing results.
What part of your childhood relates to your work at Touchcast?
I grew up devouring everything music and music video related. I realize that watching MTV as a teenager is something that makes their brand highly responsible for some of my life choices, such as pursuing a career in Graphic Design. Being fascinated by their visuals and the scenography of the award shows in particular; it's not a surprise that I ended up designing for events.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in...(your role)?
Be proactive in learning new software and always improve your workflow, organize your layers & folders and be open for feedback, consume everything visual related in order to enhance your visual culture, and don’t forget everything changes: life, technology, trends, consumer behaviours, so always be open for new knowledge, and never allow yourself to stagnate.
How do you make the most out of working remotely?
Being a huge fan of the remote system, what I like the best is having contact with so many different cultures at Touchcast. Also I am able to manage my time and day more efficiently. Since I don’t waste any time commuting, I can use those hours however I want to. Sitting at my own desk and working in my quiet office instead of a loud open space, is one of the best improvements I have had regarding life quality. Overall I feel more happy and balanced, which of course reflects on the quality of work delivered, not to mention my motivation. Oh, and the coffee, that was also a considerable improvement!
What is something outside of work you’re irrationally passionate about?
Everything I do even outside work is somehow related to visual arts and design, so anything visual related.
