What do you do here?
I am responsible for taking care of our Touchcasters...from onboarding, to culture, to professional development. I make sure that Touchcast is a fun and exciting place to work and that everyone has a sense of belonging.
My daily routine @touchcast
Why Touchcast?
I wanted to experience a start-up first hand. I wanted to work in a scrappy environment where I could immediately make a difference and help build a foundation for the People Team. I was really impressed with the culture that was already in place. I felt like it was a place where I would constantly learn something new, and I was right!

☝️ Home office on one side, laundry on the other.
What changed in your approach to your role since you joined Touchcast?
The company has grown tremendously in headcount since I joined, so I have to always think about scaling people programs and understanding how to engage such a diverse group of colleagues in so many cultures around the world.
What part of your childhood relates to your work at Touchcast?
One of our values at Touchcast is: Be curious. I was a curious kid and was always reading and in search of learning new things and finding answers. That’s a lot of what I do here at Touchcast. Constantly learning and growing.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in...(your role)?
Build strong relationships and don’t stop learning. Be authentic. Be the type of person other people know they can count on.
How do you make the most out of working remotely?
I try to keep a regular schedule which includes a regular start/stop time, time for breaks outside and exercise…this is very important as it’s easy to just sit in front of the screen and work all day. I also put time on my calendar to get my to-do list accomplished and dedicated time for project work.
What is something outside of work you’re irrationally passionate about?
Traveling! I miss it so much. I am hoping to plan an international trip in the next year.

Bugs. I am deathly afraid of most bugs
Most unusual job you’ve ever had

A singer. But I would need to have musical talent to do that, which unfortunately, I do not
if you could learn to do anything...
To speak another language fluently
If you could meet anyone, living or dead
Malcolm X
Movie recommendation
Everything in the MCU
Dream trip
Kenya
Who would you pick as your mentor
Ida B. Wells
What music you are into right now
80s and 90s R&B / Soul...think Anita Baker / Luther Vandross / Patti LaBelle
