What do you do here?
At Touchcast, I work as a People Partner. I am responsible for the recruitment, selection, planning, training, compensation promotion and development of the Asia-based team. I act as a bridge between the goals of the employee and the organization. I develop good relationships with employees to effectively implement people’s engagement practices and HR policies.

What changed in your approach to your role since you joined Touchcast?
Since I joined Touchcast, I’ve had many opportunities to grow, stand on my own and open up about my decisions, which has given me confidence.
What part of your childhood relates to your work at Touchcast?
During my childhood, I loved to ride my bike every hour of the day. I love going to races with adults in the neighborhood, and at that age, my parents gave me the freedom to explore and take risks. It helped me to shape myself and I feel the same freedom when I’m working at Touchcast as an HR professional.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in...(your role)?
Always handle everything with a smile on your face and with patience. HR professionals must have good listening and negotiation skills and you must voluntarily participate in every opportunity that expands your knowledge and experience.
How do you make the most out of working remotely?
Going to work is expensive, but remote working saves me travel time, expenses and gives me sufficient time to be with my family. This provides me with a flex-time schedule, and I appreciate this freedom. I can customize my work setup and like to be in my quiet work room with inner peace.
What is something outside of work you’re irrationally passionate about?
I'm interested in baking. I love the process of trying new recipes.
